The Restoration of Israel

¹¹ For the Lord God says this: “Behold, I Myself will ^(A)search for My sheep and look after them. ^12 (B)As a shepherd cares for his flock on a day when he is among his scattered ^[a]sheep, so I will ^(C)care for My ^[b]sheep and will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a ^(D)cloudy and gloomy day. ¹³ I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will ^(E)feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the ^(F)streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land. ¹⁴ I will feed them in a ^(G)good pasture, and their grazing place will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down in a good grazing place and feed in ^[c](H)rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. ¹⁵ I Myself will ^(I)feed My flock and I Myself will ^[d]lead them to rest,” declares the Lord God. ¹⁶ “I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken, and strengthen the sick; but the ^(J)fat and the strong I will eliminate. I will ^(K)feed them with judgment.

²³ “Then I will ^(A)appoint over them one ^(B)shepherd, My servant ^(C)David, and he will feed them; he will feed them himself and be their shepherd.

^14 (A)I am the good shepherd, and ^(B)I know My own, and My own know Me,

Benediction

²⁰ Now may ^(A)the God of peace, who ^(B)brought up from the dead the ^(C)great Shepherd of the sheep ^[a]through ^(D)the blood of the ^(E)eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord,

⁴ And when the Chief ^(A)Shepherd appears, you will receive the ^(B)unfading ^[a](C)crown of glory.

¹⁷ for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their ^(A)shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the ^[a](B)water of life; and ^(C)God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”
