⁵ But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be ^(A)put to death, because he has spoken falsely against the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of ^[a]slavery, ^(B)to drive you from the way in which the Lord your God commanded you to walk. ^(C)So you shall eliminate the evil from among you.

^7 (A)The hands of the witnesses shall be first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. ^(B)So you shall eliminate the evil from your midst.

¹² But the person who acts ^(A)insolently by not listening to the priest who stands there to serve the Lord your God, nor to the judge, that person shall die; so you shall eliminate the evil from Israel.

^21 (A)Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death; so ^(B)you shall eliminate the evil from your midst, and ^(C)all Israel will hear about it and fear.

²¹ then they shall bring the girl out to the doorway of her father’s house, and the men of her city shall stone her ^[a]to death, because she has ^(A)committed a disgraceful sin in Israel by playing the prostitute in her father’s house; so ^(B)you shall eliminate the evil from among you.

^2 [a]You ^(A)have become ^[b]arrogant and ^[c]have not ^(B)mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be ^(C)removed from your midst.
