⁶ For God, who said, ^(A)“Let light shine out of darkness,” ^(B)has shone in our hearts to give ^(C)the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Treasure in Jars of Clay

⁷ But we have this treasure in ^(D)jars of clay, ^(E)to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. ⁸ We are ^(F)afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; ⁹ persecuted, but ^(G)not forsaken; ^(H)struck down, but not destroyed; ^10 (I)always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, ^(J)so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our bodies.
