⁹ as unknown, and ^(A)yet well known; ^(B)as dying, and behold, we live; ^(C)as punished, and yet not killed;

⁹ For I think that God has exhibited us apostles as last of all, ^(A)like men sentenced to death, because we ^(B)have become a spectacle to the world, to angels, and to men.

³¹ I protest, brothers, by ^(A)my pride in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, ^(B)I die every day!

⁵ For as we share abundantly in ^(A)Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort too.^[a]

⁹ Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us ^(A)rely not on ourselves ^(B)but on God ^(C)who raises the dead.

⁵ For ^(A)if we have been united with him in ^(B)a death like his, we shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.
