  1. The first came out red, all his body like a hairy cloak, so they called his name Esau.

  16. The Call of Elisha

    So he departed from there and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen in front of him, and he was with the twelfth. Elijah passed by him and cast his cloak upon him.

  41. To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also, and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either.
  42. And they brought it to Jesus, and throwing their cloaks on the colt, they set Jesus on it.
  43. And as he rode along, they spread their cloaks on the road.
  44. He said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one.
  45. And the angel said to him, “Dress yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did so. And he said to him, “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.”
  46. And as they were shouting and throwing off their cloaks and flinging dust into the air,
  47. When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, also the books, and above all the parchments.
