If there was a core lie sabotaging your life, wouldn’t you want to know what it is? And wouldn’t you want to find the way to be free?
Most of us have been living inside a lie so long it feels like the truth. It has quietly shaped our identity, our relationships, and even how we see God. It whispers, You’ll never change. You’ll never be enough. You’ll always be alone.
These lies become the soundtrack of our lives. And until we see them for what they are, we’ll keep circling the same frustrations, the same shame, the same hopeless thoughts.
I hear them all the time:
- “I’m too much.”
- “I’ll never measure up.”
- “I can’t let anyone see the real me.”
- “I will always be alone.“
- “I’m a burden to people.“
- “I’m failing, just like my dad did.“
- “I’m unqualified.”
- “I’m not worth anyone’s time.”
- “I’m nothing special.”
But freedom is possible. The lies can end here.
3 Lies We All Believe
The Lie You Don’t Know You Believe is a book that is personal for me, it’s the story of my own journey of discovering the enemy’s oldest trick and learning to dismantle it through the spiritual authority we already have in Christ.
Here’s the truth: there are three core lies every person believes. They show up in different forms, but they all aim at the same thing: keeping us stuck in fear, shame, and striving. Somewhere along the way, likely before you were old enough to realize it was happening, one of these lies took root in your life. It snuck in and has been shaping your choices, your habits, and your relationships for years.
When I began to uncover my own lie, I realized how much of my life was built on these lies. And I can tell you this: you have the power to fight back against the lies and replace them with God’s truth.
How to Move From the Enemy’s Lies to God’s Truth
This book isn’t about behavior modification or trying harder to “fix yourself.” We’ve all tried that — and it doesn’t work. What I’m inviting you into is a whole different way of living: moving your life out of the enemy’s kingdom of lies and into the kingdom of light.
In The Lie You Don’t Know You Believe, I’ll walk you through how to:
- Spot the three core lies everyone believes — and name the one running your life.
- Trace the moment your lie took root and how the enemy has used it to keep you stuck.
- Cut ties with old narratives so they stop shaping your choices.
- Challenge lies in real time and replace them with God’s truth.
When we begin to live this way, we stop being defined by the lies and start being defined by the truth. We begin to experience real joy, peace, and strength that aren’t fleeting feelings but our everyday reality.
The Good News
We live in a world that is louder, more divided, and more anxious than ever. So many of us are exhausted from performing, striving, and pretending. Underneath it all, there’s a lie holding us back from the freedom Jesus died to give us.
But here’s the good news: Jesus has already won. The enemy may accuse, distract, and deceive, but he has no lasting authority over our lives. When we learn to recognize the lies, expose them, and replace them with the truth of God’s Word, we begin to live with the confidence and clarity that only comes from Christ.
This is why I’m so excited about this book. I don’t just want to hand you encouragement; I want to hand you tools that will help you fight back when the lies creep in.
The Promise of Freedom
I believe this book is going to set people free. I believe it’s going to help you name the lies that have been running your life and step into the truth that changes everything.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re circling the same struggles and wondering if you’ll ever change, I wrote this for you. If you’ve ever felt like you can’t quite grab hold of peace or joy no matter how hard you try, I wrote this for you.
Because freedom isn’t just possible — it’s promised.
And I want you to know it for yourself.
So here’s my invitation: come with me on this journey. Let’s pull back the curtain on the lies we’ve believed and walk together into the light.
The Lie You Don’t Know You Believe is more than a book — it’s a pathway into the freedom God has already secured for you. And my prayer is that, as you read, you’ll discover the truth that sets you free.
