⁴ These are the garments that they must make: a breastpiece, an ephod, a robe, a specially woven tunic,^[a] a turban, and a sash. They are to make holy garments for your brother Aaron and his sons so that they may serve me as priests.

²⁸ Out of all the tribes of Israel, I chose your house^[a] to be my priests, to offer sacrifices on my altar, to burn incense, and to wear an ephod in my presence.^(A) I also gave your forefather’s family all the Israelite food offerings.
