Zeph 3:15

3:15 judgments . . . your enemies. The basis for the rejoicing in v. 14 is explained: both the judgments against God’s people and the enemies that threaten them are overcome. This prophecy finds final fulfillment in Jesus Christ, who satisfied God’s judgment against sin and overcame the enemies of God through His death on the Cross (Rom. 3:23–25; Col. 2:15 note).

The King of Israel . . . in your midst. See John 1:49. The promise of God’s dwelling in the midst of His people points forward to Christ, the King of Israel (John 1:49) and incarnate glory of God (Ex. 26 note; John 1:14 note).
