Isa 58:3

58:3 fasted . . . oppress. Despite their religiosity they were not concerned with justice for others (cf. 1:15–17; 59:2; Hos. 6:4–6; Amos 5:23, 24; Zech. 7:8–12). Instead of setting the day aside so that all can fast and pray, they wanted to rest while others worked.
