Isa 26:19

26:19 dead . . . bodies. This message of hope for the future is in contrast to v. 14 (cf. Ezek. 37:11, 12). The Old Testament expresses faith in the resurrection of the body since death is an invasion of God’s created order (25:8 note; Job 19:26; Ps. 49:15; 73:24–26; Dan. 12:2; Hos. 13:14).
