Hab 3:13

3:13 You went out. In the past the Lord came out of His sanctuary for the salvation of His people in distress. This is what Habakkuk expects Him to do again.

for the salvation . . . anointed. Or, “to save Your Anointed.” Possibly a synonym for the chosen people of Israel (cf. Ps. 105:15), but more probably a reference to the Davidic kingship as it came to final expression in the Messiah (Ps. 132:10).
