27:26 does not confirm the words of this law. The final curse covers all the rest of God’s commandments. Paul quotes this verse to underscore the stringency of law’s demands and the impossibility of meriting salvation by works (Gal. 3:10). Measured by God’s standards, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). But this does not remove the obligation of the believer to obey the moral laws of God by the enabling of the Holy Spirit.
