Sharezer, Sherezer [Sharē'zẽr, She rē'zer]—protect or preserve the king.
A son of Sennacherib, king of Assyria, who with his brother Adrammelech killed their father in the temple of Nisroch at Nineveh (2 Kings 19:37; Isa. 37:38).
A man sent from Bethel to consult the priests and prophets as to a day of humiliation (Zech. 7:2).
