Rekem [Rē'kem]—friendship or variegation.

  1. One of the five kings of Midian, slain by Phinehas in the plains of Moab (Num. 31:8; Josh. 13:21).
  2. A son of Hebron and father of Shammai (1 Chron. 2:43, 44).

Also the name of a city in Benjamin, now called Ain-Karim (Josh. 18:27).
