Nahor, Nachor [Nā'hôr]—breathing hard or slayer.

  1. A son of Serug and grandfather of Abraham (Gen. 11:23-25; 1 Chron. 1:26).
  2. A son of Terah, brother of Abraham, husband of Milcah, who bore him eight children (Gen. 11:26, 29).
