Kohath

Kohath [Kō'hath]—assembly. The second son of Levi and ancestor of Moses. He died at the age of 133, and was the head of the Kohathites (Gen. 46:11; Num. 3:27, 30). The Kohathites held particular offices in sanctuary service.
