Josedech [Jŏs'edĕch]—jehovah is righteous. The father of Joshua the high priest who helped to rebuild the altar and the temple (Hag. 1:1, 12, 14; 2:2, 4; Zech. 6:11.) Also called Jozadak (Ezra 3:2, 8; 5:2).
