Jehizkiah [Jēhĭzkī'ah]—jehovah is strong or doth strengthen. A son of Shallum, a head of an Ephraimite tribe in the reign of Pekah who assisted in securing the release of captives (2 Chron. 28:12). He was a strong supporter of the prophet Oded.
