  1. God Rescues Lot

    The two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed himself with his face to the earth

  18. the bases around the court, and the bases of the gate of the court, all the pegs of the tabernacle, and all the pegs around the court.
  19. the hangings of the court, its pillars, and its bases, and the screen for the gate of the court, its cords, and its pegs; and all the utensils for the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of meeting;
  20. And you shall set up the court all around, and hang up the screen for the gate of the court.
  21. And he erected the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.
  22. and the hangings of the court and the screen for the entrance of the gate of the court that is around the tabernacle and the altar, and their cords and all the equipment for their service. And they shall do all that needs to be done with regard to them.
  23. All these were cities fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, besides very many unwalled villages.
  24. but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter or your male servant or your female servant, or your ox or your donkey or any of your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
  25. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
