  20. If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.
  21. The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
  22. We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
  23. God’s Love and Ours

    Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
  24. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
  25. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
