  1. but Christ is faithful over God's house as a son. And we are his house, if indeed we hold fast our confidence and our boasting in our hope.
  2. For we have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original confidence firm to the end.

  6. Redemption Through the Blood of Christ

    But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation)
  7. how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.
  8. For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.
  9. so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
  10. Christ's Sacrifice Once for All

    For since the law has but a shadow of the good things to come instead of the true form of these realities, it can never, by the same sacrifices that are continually offered every year, make perfect those who draw near.
  11. Consequently, when Christ came into the world, he said, “Sacrifices and offerings you have not desired, but a body have you prepared for me;
  12. And by that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
  13. But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God,
  14. He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward.
  15. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
  16. equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
