  10. For all his days are full of sorrow, and his work is a vexation. Even in the night his heart does not rest. This also is vanity.
  11. He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.
  12. I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time for every matter and for every work.
  13. I said in my heart with regard to the children of man that God is testing them that they may see that they themselves are but beasts.
  14. Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven and you are on earth. Therefore let your words be few.

  21. Do not take to heart all the things that people say, lest you hear your servant cursing you.
  22. Your heart knows that many times you yourself have cursed others.
  23. I turned my heart to know and to search out and to seek wisdom and the scheme of things, and to know the wickedness of folly and the foolishness that is madness.
  24. And I find something more bitter than death: the woman whose heart is snares and nets, and whose hands are fetters. He who pleases God escapes her, but the sinner is taken by her.
  25. Whoever keeps a command will know no evil thing, and the wise heart will know the proper time and the just way.
