So that (A)people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun
That there is (B)no one besides Me.
I am the Lord, and there is no one else,
The One (C)forming light and (D)creating darkness,
Causing [a]well-being and (E)creating disaster;
I am the Lord who does all these things.

(F)Drip down, heavens, from above,
And let the clouds pour down righteousness;
Let the (G)earth open up and salvation bear fruit,
(H)And righteousness sprout with it.
I, the Lord, have created it.

“Woe to the one who (I)quarrels with [b]his Maker—
A piece of pottery [c]among the other earthenware pottery pieces!
Will the (J)clay say to the [d]potter, ‘What are you doing?’
Or the thing you are making say, ‘He has no hands’?
