¹⁹ The woman *said to Him, “^[a]Sir, I perceive that You are ^(A)a prophet. ^20 (B)Our fathers worshiped on ^(C)this mountain, and yet you Jews say that ^(D)in Jerusalem is the place where one must worship.” ²¹ Jesus *said to her, “Believe Me, woman, that ^[b](E)a time is coming when you will worship the Father ^(F)neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.

²⁷ So he got ready and went; and ^[a](A)there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of ^[b]Candace, queen of the Ethiopians, who was in charge of all her treasure; and he ^(B)had come to Jerusalem to worship,

¹¹ since you can take note of the fact that no more than ^(A)twelve days ago I went up to Jerusalem to worship.
