Psalm 42:4-8

⁵ Why, my soul, are you downcast?^(F)
    Why so disturbed^(G) within me?
Put your hope in God,^(H)
    for I will yet praise^(I) him,
    my Savior^(J) and my God.^(K)

⁶ My soul is downcast within me;
    therefore I will remember^(L) you
from the land of the Jordan,^(M)
    the heights of Hermon^(N)—from Mount Mizar.
⁷ Deep calls to deep^(O)
    in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and breakers
    have swept over me.^(P)

⁸ By day the Lord directs his love,^(Q)
    at night^(R) his song^(S) is with me—
    a prayer to the God of my life.^(T)
