⁹ You have captivated my heart, my ^(A)sister, my bride;
    you have captivated my heart with one glance of your eyes,
    with one ^(B)jewel of your necklace.
¹⁰ How beautiful is your love, my ^(C)sister, my bride!
    How much ^(D)better is your love than wine,
    and ^(E)the fragrance of your oils than any spice!
¹¹ Your ^(F)lips drip nectar, my bride;
    ^(G)honey and milk are under your tongue;
    the fragrance of your garments is ^(H)like the fragrance of ^(I)Lebanon.
¹² A garden locked is my ^(J)sister, my bride,
    a spring locked, ^(K)a fountain ^(L)sealed.
¹³ Your shoots are ^(M)an orchard of pomegranates
    with all ^(N)choicest fruits,
    ^(O)henna with ^(P)nard,
¹⁴ nard and saffron, ^(Q)calamus and ^(R)cinnamon,
    with all trees of ^(S)frankincense,
^(T)myrrh and ^(U)aloes,
    with all ^(V)choice spices—
¹⁵ a garden fountain, a well of ^(W)living water,
    and flowing streams from ^(X)Lebanon.

¹⁶ Awake, O north wind,
    and come, O south wind!
Blow upon my ^(Y)garden,
    let its spices flow.
