²⁰ For ^(C)when you were slaves of sin, you were free in relation to righteousness. ²¹ Therefore what ^[f](D)benefit were you then ^[g]deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is ^(E)death. ²² But now having been ^(F)freed from sin and ^(G)enslaved to God, you ^[h]derive your ^[i](H)benefit, ^[j]resulting in sanctification, and ^(I)the outcome, eternal life.
