Romans 11:30-36

30 For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy because of their disobedience, 31 so these also now have been disobedient, that because of the mercy shown to you they also may now be shown mercy. 32 For (A)God has shut up all in disobedience, so that He may show mercy to all.
33 Oh, the depth of (B)the riches, [a]both of the (C)wisdom and knowledge of God! (D)How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! 34 For (E)who has known the mind of the Lord, or who became His counselor? 35 Or (F)who has first given to Him, [b]that it would be paid back to him? 36 For (G)from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. (H)To Him be the glory [c]forever. Amen.

The Message
30-32 There was a time not so long ago when you were on the outs with God. But then the Jews slammed the door on him and things opened up for you. Now they are on the outs. But with the door held wide open for you, they have a way back in. In one way or another, God makes sure that we all experience what it means to be outside so that he can personally open the door and welcome us back in.
33-36 Have you ever come on anything quite like this extravagant generosity of God, this deep, deep wisdom? It’s way over our heads. We’ll never figure it out.
Is there anyone around who can explain God?
Anyone smart enough to tell him what to do?
Anyone who has done him such a huge favor
that God has to ask his advice?
Everything comes from him;
Everything happens through him;
Everything ends up in him.
Always glory! Always praise!
