23 But (A)I see another law in (B)my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me (C)from this body of death? 25 (D)I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!

So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

Free from Indwelling Sin

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, (E)who[a] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For (F)the law of (G)the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from (H)the law of sin and death. For (I)what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, (J)God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who (K)do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. For (L)those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, (M)the things of the Spirit. For (N)to be [b]carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because (O)the [c]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, (P)nor indeed can be.
