5 But in accordance with your hardness and your [a]impenitent heart (A)you are [b]treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who (B)“will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and (C)do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew (D)first and also of the [c]Greek;

5 But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath(A), when his righteous judgment(B) will be revealed. 6 God “will repay each person according to what they have done.”[a](C) 7 To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor(D) and immortality,(E) he will give eternal life.(F) 8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil,(G) there will be wrath and anger.(H) 9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil:(I) first for the Jew, then for the Gentile;(J)
