Then I saw (A)thrones, and (B)they sat on them, and (C)judgment was given to them. And I saw (D)the souls of those who had been beheaded because of [a]their (E)testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not (F)worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the (G)mark on their foreheads and on their hands; and they (H)came to life and (I)reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. (J)This is the first resurrection. (K)Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the (L)second death has no power, but they will be (M)priests of God and of Christ, and will (N)reign with Him for a thousand years.

Satan Freed and Doomed

When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be (O)released from his prison, and will come out to (P)deceive the nations which are at the (Q)four corners of the earth, (R)Gog and Magog, to (S)gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the (T)sand of the [b]seashore. And they (U)came up on the [c]broad plain of the earth and surrounded the (V)camp of the [d]saints and the (W)beloved city, and (X)fire came down from heaven and devoured them. 10 And (Y)the devil who (Z)deceived them was thrown into the (AA)lake of fire and [e]brimstone, where the (AB)beast and the (AC)false prophet are also; and they will be (AD)tormented day and night forever and ever.

Judgment at the Throne of God

11 Then I saw a great white (AE)throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose [f]presence (AF)earth and heaven fled, and (AG)no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead, the (AH)great and the small, standing before the throne, and [g](AI)books were opened; and another [h]book was opened, which is (AJ)the book of life; and the dead (AK)were judged from the things which were written in the [i]books, (AL)according to their deeds. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and (AM)Death and Hades (AN)gave up the dead who were in them; and they were judged, each one of them (AO)according to their deeds. 14 Then (AP)Death and Hades were thrown into (AQ)the lake of fire. This is the (AR)second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if [j]anyone’s name was not found written in (AS)the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

The Judgment of Satan

When the thousand years are over,(N) Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations(O) in the four corners of the earth(P)—Gog and Magog(Q)—and to gather them for battle.(R) In number they are like the sand on the seashore.(S) They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded(T) the camp of God’s people, the city he loves.(U) But fire came down from heaven(V) and devoured them. 10 And the devil, who deceived them,(W) was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur,(X) where the beast(Y) and the false prophet(Z) had been thrown. The Scroll with Seven Seals

I saw [a]in the right hand of Him who (A)sat on the throne a [b](B)scroll written inside and on the back, (C)sealed up with seven seals. And I saw a (D)strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?” And no one (E)in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to look into it. Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to look into it. And one of the elders *said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the (F)Lion that is (G)from the tribe of Judah, the (H)Root of David, has overcome so as to be able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne(A) a scroll with writing on both sides(B) and sealed(C) with seven seals.
