³ Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One;^(A)
    you are the one Israel praises.^[a](B)
4 In you our ancestors put their trust;
    they trusted and you delivered them.^(C)
5 To you they cried out^(D) and were saved;
    in you they trusted^(E) and were not put to shame.^(F)

⁶ But I am a worm^(G) and not a man,
    scorned by everyone,^(H) despised^(I) by the people.
⁷ All who see me mock me;^(J)
    they hurl insults,^(K) shaking their heads.^(L)
8 “He trusts in the Lord,” they say,
    “let the Lord rescue him.^(M)
Let him deliver him,^(N)
    since he delights^(O) in him.”
