68 ¶ (68:1) Pou chèf sanba yo. Se yon sòm David. Se yon chante. (68:2) Lè Bondye kanpe, lènmi l' yo gaye, moun ki rayi l' yo kouri lè l' parèt.

(68:3) Menm jan lafimen disparèt nan lè a, se konsa w'ap disparèt yo. Menm jan lasi fonn nan dife, se konsa mechan yo gen pou yo mouri devan Bondye.

(68:4) Men moun ki mache dwat yo ap kontan, y'ap fè fèt devan Bondye. Y'ap kontan anpil anpil.

(68:5) Chante pou Bondye, fè fèt pou li. Louvri chemen nan laplenn lan bay moun k'ap vini an. Se Seyè ki non li. Fè kè nou kontan lè li parèt devan nou.

(68:6) Bondye rete nan kay ki apa pou li a, li sèvi papa pou timoun ki san papa yo, li pwoteje vèv yo.

(68:7) Moun ki san fanmi yo, li ba yo fanmi. Li fè prizonye yo soti nan prizon, li fè kè yo kontan. Men, pou moun k'ap kenbe tèt avè l' yo, y'ap rete nan prizon.

¶ (68:8) O Bondye, lè ou t'ap mache alatèt pèp ou a, lè ou t'ap travèse dezè a,

(68:9) tè a te pran tranble, lapli te pran tonbe soti nan syèl la devan Bondye. devan Bondye mòn Sinayi a, wi, devan Bondye pèp Izrayèl la.

(68:10) Bondye, ou fè lapli tonbe an kantite sou latè.

13 (68:14) Lè nou rete kouche nan pak mouton yo zèl pijon an klere tankou ajan. Plimaj li jòn tankou lò.

14 (68:15) Lè Bondye ki gen tout pouvwa a te gaye wa yo nan peyi a, li te fè lanèj kouvri mòn Salmon.

15 ¶ (68:16) Ala yon gwo mòn ki wo se mòn Bazan! Se yon mòn ki gen anpil tèt, mòn Bazan an!

16 (68:17) Poukisa, ou menm mòn ki gen anpil tèt la, w'ap fè jalouzi pou mòn Bondye chwazi pou fè kay pou l' rete a? Se la Seyè a ap rete pou tout tan.

17 (68:18) Seyè a gen anpil cha! Li moute sou yo. Li soti mòn Sinayi pou li al kote ki apa pou li a.

18 (68:19) Ou moute anwo, ou mennen anpil prizonye ale avè ou. Yo fè ou kado anpil moun, menm moun ki te leve dèyè ou yo.

19 (68:20) Ann fè lwanj Seyè a chak jou!

Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ap wete nou nan bouch twou a.

21 (68:22) Bondye gen pou l' kraze tèt lènmi li yo. Wi, li gen pou l' kraze zo bwa tèt moun k'ap viv nan peche.

22 ¶ (68:23) Seyè di: -M'ap fè lènmi yo tounen soti nan peyi Bazan. M'ap fè yo tounen soti nan fon lanmè a.

23 (68:24) pou ou ka mache nan san yo, pou chen ou yo ka jwenn pa yo nan lènmi ou yo.

24 (68:25) Bondye, tout moun wè jan y'ap fè fèt pou ou. Yo wè ki jan Bondye mwen an, wa mwen an, ap mache antre kote ki apa pou li a.

25 (68:26) Moun k'ap chante ap mache devan, mizisyen yo dèyè. Jenn fi yo nan mitan, y'ap bat tanbouren.

26 (68:27) Fè lwanj Bondye nan mitan pèp la lè l' reyini. Fè lwanj li, nou tout pitit pitit Izrayèl yo!

27 (68:28) Benjamen, ki pi piti a, vin alatèt yo. Apre li, vini chèf peyi Jida yo ak lame yo. Apre yo, vini chèf peyi Zabilon ak chèf peyi Neftali yo.

28 (68:29) Bondye, fè wè pouvwa ou non! Wi, fè wè pouvwa ou te sèvi pou nou an!

29 (68:30) Rete nan tanp ou a lavil Jerizalèm, kote wa yo ap pote kado ba ou.

30 (68:31) Fè bèt ki rete anba wozo yo pè, fè bann towo bèf ak jenn ti towo yo pè tou, jouk y'a vin soumèt devan ou, jouk y'a vin ofri ajan ba ou.

Chante pou fè lwanj Seyè a,33 (68:34) pou Bondye k'ap kouri chwal li nan syèl la, nan syèl ki la depi lontan lontan an. Tande jan l'ap rele, jan l'ap rele byen fò.

34 (68:35) L'ap di: -Rekonèt jan Bondye gen pouvwa! L'ap dominen sou pèp Izrayèl la. Syèl la fè nou konnen jan li gen pouvwa.

35 (68:36) Bondye chita kote ki apa pou li a, li fè tout moun respekte l'. Bondye pèp Izrayèl la bay pèp li a fòs ak kouraj. Di Bondye mèsi!

69 ¶ (69:1) Pou chèf sanba yo. Se pou yo chante l' sou menm lè ak chante ki di: Bèl flè savann blan yo. Se yon sòm David. (69:2) Delivre m' non, Bondye. Dlo prèt pou neye mwen.

(69:3) M'ap desann nan fon yon ma labou. Mwen pa ka pran pye. Mwen nan yon gwo basen byen fon. Dlo prèt pou kouvri tèt mwen.

(69:4) Mwen bouke rele, mwen pa kapab ankò. Gòj mwen ap fè mwen mal. Je m' yo ap boule m' sitèlman m'ap veye tann sekou Bondye mwen an.

(69:5) Gen yon bann moun ki rayi m' san m' pa fè yo anyen. Yo pi plis pase cheve nan tèt mwen. Gen yon seri moun ki rete konsa yo fè m' lènmi, yo pi fò pase m', y'ap chache touye mwen.

10 (69:11) Mwen nan gwo lapenn, mwen rete san manje. Se poutèt sa wi y'ap joure m' konsa.

11 (69:12) Si m' mete yon rad sak sou mwen pou m' mande ou padon, y'ap pase m' nan rizib.

12 (69:13) Yo chita bò pòtay lavil la, y'ap pale sou mwen, bwèsonyè yo ap fè chante sou mwen.

13 ¶ (69:14) Men mwen menm, se ou menm m'ap toujou lapriyè. Reponn mwen, Bondye, lè w'a wè l' nesesè, paske ou gen bon kè, paske w'ap toujou pote m' sekou.

14 (69:15) Wete m' nan ma labou sa a. Pa kite m' desann pi fon ladan li. Delivre m' anba lènmi m' yo. Wete m' nan gwo basen byen fon an.

15 (69:16) Pa kite dlo yo kouvri tèt mwen ankò. Pa kite m' neye nan gwo lantonwa a. Pa kite bouch twou a fèmen sou mwen.

Prese vin reponn mwen, paske mwen nan gwo traka.

18 (69:19) vin jwenn mwen, vin delivre mwen. Wete m' nan men lènmi mwen yo.

19 (69:20) Ou konnen jan y'ap joure mwen, jan y'ap fè m' wont, jan y'ap trennen m' nan labou. Ou wè tout moun k'ap pèsekite m' yo.

20 (69:21) Yo di m' gwomo jouk yo kraze kouraj mwen.

21 (69:22) Yo mete pwazon nan manje mwen. Lè m' mande dlo pou m' bwè, se vinèg yo ban mwen.

22 ¶ (69:23) Se pou resepsyon y'ap fè yo tounen yon pèlen pou yo. Lè yo konprann zafè yo pi bon, se lè sa a pou malè tonbe sou yo.

23 (69:24) Se pou je yo bouche pou yo pa wè menm! Kase ren yo pou yo pa ka kanpe dwat ankò!

24 (69:25) Mete ou an kòlè sou yo! Fè yo santi jan ou fache sou yo!

26 (69:27) Paske yo te pèsekite moun ou t'ap pini an. Y'ap pwonmennen rakonte soufrans moun ou blese a.

27 (69:28) Kite yo mete sou sa yo fè deja. Se pou ou san pitye pou yo.

28 (69:29) Efase non yo nan liv ki gen non moun ki gen lavi a. Pa mete non yo ak non moun k'ap sèvi ou yo.

29 (69:30) Mwen nan gwo lapenn, m'ap soufri. Bondye, pote m' sekou. Mete m' sou de pye m' ankò.

30 ¶ (69:31) M'a chante pou Bondye, m'a fè lwanj li. M'a di l' mèsi, m'a fè konnen jan li gen pouvwa.

31 (69:32) Sa va fè Seyè a plezi pi plis pase si m' ta ofri l' yon bèf, pase si m' ta ba li yon jenn towo bèf ki fin fè kòn.

32 (69:33) Lè malere yo va wè sa, y'a kontan. Se va yon gwo ankourajman pou moun k'ap sèvi Bondye yo.

33 (69:34) Seyè a koute lè pòv yo ap lapriyè nan pye l'. Li pa bliye moun pa l' yo lè yo nan prizon.

35 (69:36) L'a delivre peyi Siyon. L'a rebati lavil peyi Jida yo. Pèp li va bati kay yo la ankò. Y'a pran tè a pou yo.

36 (69:37) Pitit pitit sèvitè l' yo va eritye peyi a. Se la moun ki renmen l' yo va viv.

Psalm 69[l]

For the director of music. To the tune of “Lilies.” Of David.

Save me, O God,
    for the waters(CF) have come up to my neck.(CG)
I sink in the miry depths,(CH)
    where there is no foothold.
I have come into the deep waters;
    the floods engulf me.
I am worn out calling for help;(CI)
    my throat is parched.
My eyes fail,(CJ)
    looking for my God.
Those who hate me(CK) without reason(CL)
    outnumber the hairs of my head;
many are my enemies without cause,(CM)
    those who seek to destroy me.(CN)
I am forced to restore
    what I did not steal.

You, God, know my folly;(CO)
    my guilt is not hidden from you.(CP)

Lord, the Lord Almighty,
    may those who hope in you
    not be disgraced because of me;
God of Israel,
    may those who seek you
    not be put to shame because of me.
For I endure scorn(CQ) for your sake,(CR)
    and shame covers my face.(CS)
I am a foreigner to my own family,
    a stranger to my own mother’s children;(CT)
for zeal for your house consumes me,(CU)
    and the insults of those who insult you fall on me.(CV)
10 When I weep and fast,(CW)
    I must endure scorn;
11 when I put on sackcloth,(CX)
    people make sport of me.
12 Those who sit at the gate(CY) mock me,
    and I am the song of the drunkards.(CZ)

13 But I pray to you, Lord,
    in the time of your favor;(DA)
in your great love,(DB) O God,
    answer me with your sure salvation.
14 Rescue me from the mire,
    do not let me sink;
deliver me from those who hate me,
    from the deep waters.(DC)
15 Do not let the floodwaters(DD) engulf me
    or the depths swallow me up(DE)
    or the pit close its mouth over me.(DF)

16 Answer me, Lord, out of the goodness of your love;(DG)
    in your great mercy turn to me.
17 Do not hide your face(DH) from your servant;
    answer me quickly,(DI) for I am in trouble.(DJ)
18 Come near and rescue me;
    deliver(DK) me because of my foes.

19 You know how I am scorned,(DL) disgraced and shamed;
    all my enemies are before you.
20 Scorn has broken my heart
    and has left me helpless;
I looked for sympathy, but there was none,
    for comforters,(DM) but I found none.(DN)
21 They put gall in my food
    and gave me vinegar(DO) for my thirst.(DP)

22 May the table set before them become a snare;
    may it become retribution and[m] a trap.(DQ)
23 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see,
    and their backs be bent forever.(DR)
24 Pour out your wrath(DS) on them;
    let your fierce anger overtake them.
25 May their place be deserted;(DT)
    let there be no one to dwell in their tents.(DU)
26 For they persecute those you wound
    and talk about the pain of those you hurt.(DV)
27 Charge them with crime upon crime;(DW)
    do not let them share in your salvation.(DX)
28 May they be blotted out of the book of life(DY)
    and not be listed with the righteous.(DZ)

29 But as for me, afflicted and in pain—
    may your salvation, God, protect me.(EA)

30 I will praise God’s name in song(EB)
    and glorify him(EC) with thanksgiving.
31 This will please the Lord more than an ox,
    more than a bull with its horns and hooves.(ED)
32 The poor will see and be glad(EE)
    you who seek God, may your hearts live!(EF)
33 The Lord hears the needy(EG)
    and does not despise his captive people.

34 Let heaven and earth praise him,
    the seas and all that move in them,(EH)
35 for God will save Zion(EI)
    and rebuild the cities of Judah.(EJ)
Then people will settle there and possess it;
36     the children of his servants will inherit it,(EK)
    and those who love his name will dwell there.(EL)

¶ Koulye a, nanpwen okenn kondannasyon pou moun ki fè yon sèl kò ak Jezikri.

Lalwa Sentespri a ap fè nou viv ansanm ak Jezikri, li delivre nou anba lalwa peche a ansanm ak anba lanmò.

Men, moun k'ap viv dapre Lespri Bondye a, se yon sèl bagay ki man tèt yo: se egzijans Lespri a.

Poukisa? Paske, lè egzijans kò a fin pran tèt yon moun, li pa vle wè Bondye ankò, li p'ap soumèt devan lalwa Bondye a, li p'ap ka soumèt menm.

Pou nou menm, nou p'ap viv dapre egzijans kò nou ankò, men dapre egzijans Lespri Bondye a, paske Lespri Bondye a nan nou.

13 Si n'ap viv dapre egzijans kò a, n'a mouri. Men, si okontrè, pa pouvwa Lespri Bondye n'ap swiv la, nou fè egzijans kò a mouri, n'a viv.

15 Lespri Bondye ban nou an, se pa yon lespri k'ap fè nou esklav pou n'ap tranble devan Bondye toujou. Okontrè, Lespri Bondye a fè nou tounen pitit Bondye.

Paske, si nou soufri ansanm ak li, n'a resevwa lwanj nan men Bondye ansanm ak li tou.

18 Pou mwen, nou pa ka konpare sa n'ap soufri koulye a ak bèl bagay Bondye pral fè nou wè yo.

19 Tout kreyasyon Bondye a ap tann konsa kilè pitit Bondye yo va parèt.

20 Paske, tout kreyasyon an te tonbe pa fòs anba pouvwa bagay ki pa vo anyen an. Se pa paske li te vle l', men se akòz moun ki te vle l' konsa a. Men, li te toujou gen espwa,

21 yon lè la delivre anba esklavaj pouvwa k'ap gate l' la, pou l' ka jwi bèl libète pitit Bondye yo.

Lavi nan Sentespri a

Bondye voye l pou l regle koze peche a. Kounye a, nou p ap mache selon feblès nou. N ap mache dapre Sentespri a.

Moun k ap mache dapre feblès yo, yo panse sèlman ak sa yo vle. Men moun k ap mache anba kontwòl Sentespri a, yo panse selon volonte Sentespri a. Lè yon moun gen panse l anba kontwòl feblès li, se wout lanmò li pran. Men lè yon moun gen panse l anba kontwòl Sentespri a, se wout lavi ak lapè li pran. Poukisa?

Men ou menm, ou pa anba kontwòl feblès lachè. Ou anba kontwòl Sentespri a si Lespri Bondye ap viv nan ou toutbon. Men, nenpòt moun ki pa gen Lespri Kris la nan li, li pa moun Kris la. 10 Men si Kris ap viv nan nou, lè sa a, Sentespri a ban nou lavi paske nou te libere anba peche ak lanmò. Sa se yon verite, menm si kò nou deja nan wout pou mouri poutèt peche. 11 Si Lespri Bondye ki resisite Jezi a ap viv nan nou se sèten l ap resisite kò nou tou pa mwayen Sentespri a k ap viv nan nou.

12 Konsa, frè m ak sè m yo, nou pa dwe kite se feblès lachè k ap dirije nou epi k ap fè nou fè sa l vle. 13 Si nou pase lavi nou ap fè sa feblès lachè vle, n ap mouri nan vi espirityèl nou. Men si n kite Sentespri a ede n fini ak move bagay lachè yo, n ap genyen vrè lavi a.

Si jodi a nou gen pòsyon soufrans pa nou menm jan ak li, n ap gen pòsyon laglwa pa nou avèk li tou.

N ap gen laglwa yon jou

Bondye vle kreyasyon an jwi menm libète ak laglwa pitit Bondye yo va genyen.

Life Through the Spirit

Therefore, there is now no condemnation(A) for those who are in Christ Jesus,(B) because through Christ Jesus(C) the law of the Spirit who gives life(D) has set you[a] free(E) from the law of sin(F) and death. For what the law was powerless(G) to do because it was weakened by the flesh,[b](H) God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh(I) to be a sin offering.[c](J) And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement(K) of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.(L)

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires;(M) but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.(N) The mind governed by the flesh is death,(O) but the mind governed by the Spirit is life(P) and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God;(Q) it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh(R) cannot please God.

You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh(S) but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you.(T) And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ,(U) they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you,(V) then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life[d] because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead(W) is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies(X) because of[e] his Spirit who lives in you.

12 Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.(Y) 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die;(Z) but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body,(AA) you will live.(AB)

14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God(AC) are the children of God.(AD) 15 The Spirit(AE) you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again;(AF) rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship.[f] And by him we cry, “Abba,[g] Father.”(AG) 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit(AH) that we are God’s children.(AI) 17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs(AJ)—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings(AK) in order that we may also share in his glory.(AL)

Present Suffering and Future Glory

18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.(AM) 19 For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God(AN) to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it,(AO) in hope 21 that[h] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay(AP) and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God.(AQ)
