31 Það sem þeir áttu að annast, var örkin, borðið, ljósastikan, ölturun og hin helgu áhöld, er þeir hafa við þjónustugjörðina, og dúkbreiðan og allt, sem að því þurfti að þjóna.
32 Höfðingi yfir höfðingjum levítanna var Eleasar Aronsson prests. Hann hafði umsjón yfir þeim, er höfðu á hendi að annast helgidóminn.

31 They were responsible for the care of the ark,(A) the table,(B) the lampstand,(C) the altars,(D) the articles(E) of the sanctuary used in ministering, the curtain,(F) and everything related to their use.(G) 32 The chief leader of the Levites was Eleazar(H) son of Aaron, the priest. He was appointed over those who were responsible(I) for the care of the sanctuary.(J)
