16 And afterward the people moved from (A)Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.
Spies Sent into Canaan(B)
13 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 (C)“Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.”
3 So Moses sent them (D)from the Wilderness of Paran according to the command of the Lord, all of them men who were heads of the children of Israel.

16 After that, the people left Hazeroth(A) and encamped in the Desert of Paran.(B)
Exploring Canaan
13 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Send some men to explore(C) the land of Canaan,(D) which I am giving to the Israelites.(E) From each ancestral tribe(F) send one of its leaders.”
3 So at the Lord’s command Moses sent them out from the Desert of Paran. All of them were leaders of the Israelites.(G)
