Mark 7:5-8
New American Standard Bible
5 And the Pharisees and the scribes *asked Him, “Why do Your disciples not walk in accordance with the (A)tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with (B)[a]unholy hands?” 6 But He said to them, “Rightly did Isaiah prophesy about you hypocrites, as it is written:
‘(C)This people honors Me with their lips,
But their heart is far away from Me.
7 (D)And in vain do they worship Me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
8 Neglecting the commandment of God, you hold to the (E)tradition of men.”

Mark 7:5-8
New International Version
5 So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders(A) instead of eating their food with defiled hands?”
6 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:
“‘These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
7 They worship me in vain;
their teachings are merely human rules.’[a](B)
8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”(C)
