44 and whoever wants to be first among you shall be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man (A)did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His [a]life as a ransom for many.”
Bartimaeus Receives His Sight
46 (B)Then they *came to Jericho. And later, (C)as He was leaving Jericho with His disciples and a large crowd, a beggar who was blind named Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, was sitting by the road.

Blind Bartimaeus Receives His Sight(C)
46 Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging.
