16 Ale on to vyvrátil: Ja vás krstím vodou, ale prichádza mocnejší, ako som ja. Tomu nie som hoden ani remienok rozviazať na obuvi. Ten vás bude krstiť ohňom -- Svätým Duchom.
17 Už drží vejačku v ruke a čistí obilie od pliev. Pšenicu zhromaždí do sýpky, ale plevy spáli v neuhasiteľnom ohni."

16 John answered them all, “I baptize you with[a] water.(A) But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with[b] the Holy Spirit and fire.(B) 17 His winnowing fork(C) is in his hand to clear his threshing floor and to gather the wheat into his barn, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”(D)
