John 15:19-20
New American Standard Bible
19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but (A)I chose you out of the world, (B)because of this the world hates you. 20 Remember the word that I said to you, ‘(C)A slave is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, (D)they will persecute you as well; if they (E)followed My word, they will follow yours also.

19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you(A) out of the world. That is why the world hates you.(B) 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’[a](C) If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.(D) If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.
