Job 37:6-10

6 For to (A)the snow he says, ‘Fall on the earth,’
likewise to the downpour, his mighty downpour.
7 He (B)seals up the hand of every man,
that all men whom he made may (C)know it.
8 Then the beasts go into their (D)lairs,
and remain in their (E)dens.
9 From (F)its chamber (G)comes the whirlwind,
and (H)cold from the scattering winds.
10 By the breath of God (I)ice is given,
and (J)the broad waters are frozen fast.

6 He says to the snow,(A) ‘Fall on the earth,’
and to the rain shower, ‘Be a mighty downpour.’(B)
7 So that everyone he has made may know his work,(C)
he stops all people from their labor.[a](D)
8 The animals take cover;(E)
they remain in their dens.(F)
9 The tempest comes out from its chamber,(G)
the cold from the driving winds.(H)
10 The breath of God produces ice,
and the broad waters become frozen.(I)
