²² But ^(A)be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ²³ For ^(B)if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; ²⁴ for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

¹⁸ But we all, with unveiled face, beholding ^(A)as in a mirror ^(B)the glory of the Lord, ^(C)are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as ^[a]by the Spirit of the Lord.

¹² For ^(A)now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then ^(B)face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
