Isaiah 51:7-8
The Message
7-8 “Listen now, you who know right from wrong,
you who hold my teaching inside you:
Pay no attention to insults, and when mocked
don’t let it get you down.
Those insults and mockeries are moth-eaten,
from brains that are termite-ridden,
But my setting-things-right lasts,
my salvation goes on and on and on.”
Isaiah 51:7-8
New International Version
7 “Hear me, you who know what is right,(A)
you people who have taken my instruction to heart:(B)
Do not fear the reproach of mere mortals
or be terrified by their insults.(C)
8 For the moth will eat them up like a garment;(D)
the worm(E) will devour them like wool.
But my righteousness will last forever,(F)
my salvation through all generations.”
