10 Then Ezra the priest stood up and said to them, “You have [a]transgressed and [b]have taken pagan wives, adding to the guilt of Israel. 11 Now therefore, (A)make confession to the Lord God of your fathers, and do His will; (B)separate yourselves from the peoples of the land, and from the pagan wives.”
12 Then all the assembly answered and said with a loud voice, “Yes! As you have said, so we must do.

10 Then Ezra(A) the priest stood up and said to them, “You have been unfaithful; you have married foreign women, adding to Israel’s guilt.(B) 11 Now honor[a] the Lord, the God of your ancestors, and do his will. Separate yourselves from the peoples around you and from your foreign wives.”(C)
12 The whole assembly responded with a loud voice:(D) “You are right! We must do as you say.
