¹² So he ^[a]looked this way and that, and when he saw that there was no one around, he ^(A)struck and killed the Egyptian, and hid ^[b]his body in the sand.

²⁴ And when he saw one of them being treated unjustly, he defended and took vengeance for the oppressed man by fatally striking the Egyptian.
