11 You came near and stood at the foot of the mountain(A) while it blazed with fire(B) to the very heavens, with black clouds and deep darkness.(C) 12 Then the Lord spoke(D) to you out of the fire. You heard the sound of words but saw no form;(E) there was only a voice.(F)

12 And the Lord spake unto you out of the midst of the fire: ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no similitude; only ye heard a voice.
