Colossians 3:22-4:6
New International Version
22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. 23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, 24 since you know that you will receive an inheritance(A) from the Lord as a reward.(B) It is the Lord Christ you are serving. 25 Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.(C)
4 Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair,(D) because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.

2 Devote yourselves to prayer,(E) being watchful and thankful. 3 And pray for us, too, that God may open a door(F) for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery(G) of Christ, for which I am in chains.(H) 4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should. 5 Be wise(I) in the way you act toward outsiders;(J) make the most of every opportunity.(K) 6 Let your conversation be always full of grace,(L) seasoned with salt,(M) so that you may know how to answer everyone.(N)

22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God;
23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
4 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6 Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
