11 Tým, že ste sa s ním spojili, boli ste oslobodení od všetkých svojich zlých žiadostí. No nie obriezkou, ale duchovným spôsobom, aby som tak povedal, zrieknutím sa celej svojej doterajšej telesnosti.
12 Pri krste bol spolu s Kristom pochovaný váš starý hriešny život, ale prostredníctvom viery ste s ním boli vzkriesení do nového života, lebo ste uverili slovu mocného Boha, ktorý Krista vzkriesil z mŕtvych.

11 In him you were also circumcised(A) with a circumcision not performed by human hands. Your whole self ruled by the flesh[a](B) was put off when you were circumcised by[b] Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism,(C) in which you were also raised with him(D) through your faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.(E)
