31 En hee saed: "Woo kaun ekj wan mie kjeena leide deit?" en hee prachad am enopp to kome en met am to sette.
32 Nu dee Staed wua hee laus wea dit: "Am wort wajch jeleit so aus en Schop tom schlachte, en soo aus en Laum daut jeschaeat woat stel es, soo muak hee sien Mul nich op.
33 Enn sien laeaja Staunt wort sien Jerecht wajch jenome; waea woat fonn sien Jeschlacht fetale? dan sien Laewe woat fonne Ead wajch jenome."
34 En dee Huachbe-aumte saed to Filip: "Ekj froag die, fonn waem sajcht dee Profeet dit? fonn sikj selfst, oda raet hee fonn sest waem?"
35 En Filip muak sien Mul op en funk bie dee Schreftstaed aun, en praedjd Jesus to am.
36 Aus see nu delengd daem Wajch fuare, kjeeme see no en jewesset Wota; en dee Huachbe-aumta saed to Filip: "Kjikj! hia es Wota, waut sull mie hinjre jetauft to woare?"
37 En Filip saed: "Wan du fonn gaunse Hoate jleefst, dan kaunst." Hee saed: "Ekj jleew daut Jesus Christus Gott sien Saen es".
38 En hee befool daut dee Woage stel hoole sull, en see jinje beid em Wota enenn, beid Filip en dee Huachbe-aumta, en hee tauft am.
39 Aus see nu utem Wota rut kjeeme, neem dee Jeist Filip wajch daut dee Huachbe-aumta am nich meeha sach, oba hee fua sien Wajch wiede en freid sikj.

27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian[a](A) eunuch,(B) an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship,(C) 28 and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet. 29 The Spirit told(D) Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.”
30 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.
31 “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
32 This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading:
“He was led like a sheep to the slaughter,
and as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
33 In his humiliation he was deprived of justice.
Who can speak of his descendants?
For his life was taken from the earth.”[b](E)
34 The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else?” 35 Then Philip began(F) with that very passage of Scripture(G) and told him the good news(H) about Jesus.
36 As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, “Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?”(I) [37] [c] 38 And he gave orders to stop the chariot. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him. 39 When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord suddenly took Philip away,(J) and the eunuch did not see him again, but went on his way rejoicing.
