15 (A)Yahweh of hosts will defend them.
And they will (B)consume and trample on the (C)stones of a sling;
And they will drink and (D)roar as with wine;
And they will be filled like a sacrificial bowl,
Drenched like the (E)corners of the altar.
16 And Yahweh their God will (F)save them in that day
As the flock of His people;
For they are as the stones of a (G)crown,
[a]Sparkling in His land.
17 For what (H)goodness and (I)what beauty will be [b]theirs!
Grain will make the choice men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

15 and the Lord Almighty will shield(A) them.
They will destroy
and overcome with slingstones.(B)
They will drink and roar as with wine;(C)
they will be full like a bowl(D)
used for sprinkling[a] the corners(E) of the altar.
16 The Lord their God will save his people on that day(F)
as a shepherd saves his flock.
They will sparkle in his land
like jewels in a crown.(G)
17 How attractive and beautiful they will be!
Grain will make the young men thrive,
and new wine the young women.
