⁶ On this mountain^(A) the Lord Almighty will prepare
    a feast^(B) of rich food for all peoples,
a banquet of aged wine—
    the best of meats and the finest of wines.^(C)
7 On this mountain he will destroy
    the shroud^(D) that enfolds all peoples,^(E)
the sheet that covers all nations;
⁸     he will swallow up death^(F) forever.
The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears^(G)
    from all faces;
he will remove his people’s disgrace^(H)
    from all the earth.
The Lord has spoken.^(I)

“Surely this is our God;^(K)
    we trusted^(L) in him, and he saved^(M) us.
This is the Lord, we trusted in him;
    let us rejoice^(N) and be glad in his salvation.”^(O)

⁵ You prepare a table^(A) before me
    in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;^(B)
    my cup^(C) overflows.

⁶ Surely your goodness and love^(A) will follow me
    all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    forever.

⁶ Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love,^(A)
    for they are from of old.

⁷ Do not remember the sins of my youth^(A)
    and my rebellious ways;^(B)
according to your love^(C) remember me,
    for you, Lord, are good.^(D)

¹⁷ Relieve the troubles^(A) of my heart
    and free me from my anguish.^(B)
18 Look on my affliction^(C) and my distress^(D)
    and take away all my sins.^(E)

²⁰ Guard my life^(A) and rescue me;^(B)
    do not let me be put to shame,^(C)
    for I take refuge^(D) in you.
²¹ May integrity^(E) and uprightness^(F) protect me,
    because my hope, Lord,^[a] is in you.^(G)
